Family project in Taradell
We are Raül and Sandra, and in 2008, after many years working in this trade, we decided to create El Xocolater de Taradell. This is a family project based on two pillars: excellent quality raw materials and a methodical, meticulous, and careful production process.
We offer a wide range of products where chocolate is the main ingredient. We love our work and being able to share it with all of you.

Chocolate
Bonbons, chocolate bars, truffles, chocolate rocks, and much more.

Individual desserts:
Always combining the best ingredients, we prepare a diverse variety of desserts.

Cakes:
Individual desserts also available in large formats for cutting and blowing out candles.

Wheat, sugar, egg, milk, yeast:
Croissants and puff pastries always ready, and from time to time we like to surprise you with brownies, a good donut, cookies…

Traditions:
Chocolate figures for Easter and nougat (“torrons”) for Christmas will never be missing from your table.

Getting married, or not:
For celebrations, weddings, and events, we can make your wishes come true. Contact us!

Utopia, a celebratory and charitable chocolate
Utopia was a unique chocolate created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of El Xocolater de Taradell. Between dreams, balance, improvement, resistance to change, and the traditional Catalan spirit of “seny i rauxa” (reason and passion), we don’t want to stop making this chocolate because there is still a lot of work to be done. El Xocolater de Taradell is a story made of many small stories, and we want to make this one eternal. All profits from Utopia will go to childhood cancer research at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital. Because love is born from the sudden desire to make eternal what is temporary.
